Revalida 103-a

I’ve been busy few weeks ago to prepare for my revalida on Nursing Care Management 103. Honestly, I wasn’t really focused reviewing for the revalida, I just thought that the clinical instructors (specially the DYOSAs) seem like doesn’t want to pass students assigned to them for the revalida, as I have heard to students who failed during revalida even if they claim to have studied hard. I guess it’s just my lucky day last Sunday!

The practical exam result went beyond my expectations because I wasn’t much ready for all the procedures as my colleagues did. I am fortunate to be given a high grade for the procedure I was assigned with because it was the first procedure I’ve skimmed on my lecture notes before going to school. I was assigned to Testicular Self-Examination (TSE) procedure, it was a simple procedure but still the question raised before me wasn’t actually on the notes that IN has provided, fortunately I was able to answer the question which earned almost 18% total grade for my Related Learning Experience (RLE), quite heavy if I’ve failed it.

In the past two revalida for my third year (summer and 1st semester) in the University, I’ve never been failed for the procedure assigned to me and a coincident that I had the same clinical instructor for my previous revalida.

While for my Comeprehensive exam for Nursing Care Management since last semester, I wasn’t given the result which made me uneasy. But this time, there will be a rationalization of the answers postponed for next semester (supposed to be March 18,2009).

Wish me luck!
