Tornado spotted in Manila
This is unbelievable, I never thought I’d ever witness a tornado here in the Philippines most especially here in Manila. My brother recorded the video of the tornado as seen from the window of our apartment unit here in Sampaloc, Manila. I just came from a dinner date for our monthsary when I noticed the clouds forming a funnel shape until it reached longer down to the ground ( I guess, since the buildings blocks our vision).
Updated: 23:03 Manila time- finally posted on my youtube channel. I thought it was the first tornado ever spotted in the Metropolitan Manila, but there were like 2 other videos taken 2-3 years ago. Sorry for my ignorance for stating on my channel that it is the “first ever tornado spotted in Manila.” Although few more videos were already documented, this is an environmental phenomenon in the Philippines.

But the tornado in Brgy. UP Campus was devastating. We’re experiencing extreme weather conditions already in the Philippines which is then limited to typhoons, and now Tornadoes. Is this the effect of Global Warming?

actually I got freaked out this afternoon when I saw the clouds from the sky that were like about to make a connection to the ground. I remembered your blog entry and like god I wish it wasn’t gonna happen here XD
