Microsoft's worst nightmare
This is Bill Gates worst nightmare, encoutering the G.ho.st. I hope Microsoft won’t close their windows.
Totally cloud computing. I already made an entry about this useful web-based service from the Ghost Inc before. A brochure of G.ho.st® VC we’ve found during the iBlog5 reminded me of this service which I have found 1 or 2 years ago. I am not sure if G.ho.st already had marketing campaigns in Manila- the brochure looks informative, unfortunately we only found 1pc, so my companion during iBlog5 took it since I already know about the service. Ever since, I really loved the idea of having my desktop accessible anywhere, but not using a software to show my PC desktop even if I’m away from home. Remote access and desktop control software are just unsafe from unauthorized access or maybe no one could turn on and connect my PC online, while a PC is vulnerable from disaster.
Here comes G.ho.st (Global Hosted Operating SysTem), a virtual computer easily accessible to any browser with an internet connection, it is simply pronounced as ghost, (a disembodied soul, to appear to the living in bodily likeness- merriam-webster) which haunts Microsoft to death. I’ve just read from an article how Microsoft might have been threatened by these web-based applications already available online, which makes the computer-giant uneasy.
Key Features:
- Available-everywhere desktop- Access your desktop, files, apps and settings from any Internet browser. Desktop and apps run without the need for installation or updating. Customize your desktop and choose from 20+ available language.

- G.ho.st® Mail- upon logging in to your G.ho.st® VC, you’re G.ho.st® Mail also logs in as userID@G.ho.st. I’ve tried to email my primary email address, but the message went to my spam folder, so I just added my G.ho.st® email address to my contacts.
- Organize Web stuff- Manage smart shortcuts called Tagged Things to Web resources – webmarks (URLs), files, photos, videos, music, products. Single sign-on to other services such as Google Docs using My Logins. The G.ho.st® Virtual File System shows you G.ho.st® Drive files, Google Docs files and other Web files all in one place.
- G.ho.st® Browser- It has it’s own web-browser, I am actually using it while writing this entry on my blog. NO traces of your online history, your bookmarks are always with you.
G.ho.st® is totally Virtual. All, in one browser window accessible anywhere! Have you tried G.ho.st® VC?
