Comment to Feed
I’ve recently wrote an entry about The Hunger Site. I am very much moved by the cause of the website and amazed on how the single click each day on The Hunger Site homepage that I made could have feed those who are in need, while helping them to start building a decent life.
I came up with this campaign inspired by The Hunger Site cause. But unlike the buttons on The Hunger Site homepage which an individual must click to contribute to the cause, as a blogger I would like to make use of my blogsite as an instrument for other bloggers, visitors and myself to DO something for this cause. I do not intend to replace The Hunger Site but giving my readers, and those who are already supporting The Hunger Site, the opportunity to make the reach of the help to more people everyday.
How can I help?
Starting June 1, 2009- Every comment on any topic posted on http://myphemaster.dejarme.net is equivalent to a cup of rice which will be donated to charities who provides feeding program for the needy.
I do not limit myself just by doing this campaign on my blog but also to volunteer personally with the feeding program during free days. Start commenting now to feed…
Rainy Days of Summer
I’ve read skeptical comments regarding Global Warming before. Some says, the idea was just a conspiracy of scientists just to instill fear. Another comment condemns the idea of the greenhouse gases. But wouldn’t you believe in the air you breath if you haven’t even seen it ever in your life?
It would always be difficult to believe in things you haven’t even seen ever before in your life. Unfortunately, we only get to believe too late, when we cannot do anymore to reverse or reduce the occurrence of the problem.

Easter 2009!
I had a long vacation for my school break, that was almost 2 weeks before I return to my school hospital life tomorrow. Our summer hospital duties starts immediately this week, after Easter Sunday. According to Darwin, our group leader, we will be assigned at Ospital ng Sampaloc as posted on our Batch Website online.
I really took the most of this break especially the past week last Holy Week, you haven’t heard about me.
I usually spend my Holy week in the province. This year, I wasn’t really sure. I’ve given myself a choice since I won’t stay alone in Manila during the period. My older brother already had a job here which demands him to stay. Although I already decided, if ever I’ll be leaving for the province, I’d go for April 8. The question is; to stay or not to stay if so, on April 8 or April 3.
A sudden change of plan was necessary to dodge a bullet. That is why April 3 earlier than I planned, I went home to Pangasinan. I had a lot of plans to maximize my stay in Pangasinan to compensate for my broadband-connected life in Manila. You’ve read that right, although internet connection was already easy in Pangasinan (recently in my town of Bani), our home was disconnected from the web. We used to have a contract with Digitel Broadband but for some reason, it was canceled.
Going back to my plans, first, I will have to attend to my driver’s license application. Next is to organize my files (soft and hard copies). I also wanted to use these spare time to read. Lastly, to relax, enjoy and reflect.

We had a project at school 2 weeks ago, my group decided to make a documentary film. It ended up to be a combination of a live and video presentation because there had been a comment among the group that if we’ve continued the original plan, the production would end up serious thus boring. Since we aborted the original idea, we then improved it.
It wasn’t my first time to use a video editing software. In 2006, I already created a video clip using Windows Movie Maker. Now, I am experimenting with WAX, Video Edit Magic by Desksare and Adobe Premire for the Green Screen or Chromakey feature. This entire video editing work I’ve been engaged in gave alot of pressure because every step of the way I’ve been involved in capturing movie scene and later I’ve also became the cameraman. I am not even an advanced video editor, but among the group I’m the only one who had a background on it.
Actually I feel big relief after being exhausted by the pressure yesterday night knowing that I am suppose to present the video to the entire group before the presentation tomorrow but fortunately our presentation was moved til next week Wednesday which gave me another week to finalize the video. Without any clue, my groupmates upon hearing the good news, they were planning another location since we only rushed our last 2 scene on the video presentation.
That’s the reason why I wasn’t able to update my blog for a few days, I’ve been busy for school. Of course no one can’t stop me from getting online, I would just like to apologize if sometime my updates took a few days.
